To celebrate the 25th anniversary of BNBM, the Company held a celebration for the 25th anniversary of Papua New Guinea Company and a loyal staff commendation conference on November 25, 2017.

At 13:30, the moderator announced the official commencement of the conference. General Manager Pan Xuan made an opening speech and expressed his gratitude to all the staff for their hard work. He said that BNBM would assume more social responsibilities and provide more employment opportunities for Papua New Guinea. The Papua New Guinea model has been successfully replicated in Vanuatu and Tanzania. Looking back on the development process, we are proud of BNBM and our employees. Although BNBM will face more challenges in the process of development, we are not afraid of the future, instead, we will be down-to-earth and work together to create a better future.

After the speech, we ushered in first artistic performance tonight - the opening dance. The dance was organized spontaneously by POM VARAHE staff, combined with local cultural characteristics and the development history of BNBM stores. Wearing traditional grass skirts, shells, seed jewelries, and painted masks, the dancers sang and danced on the stage, igniting the atmosphere at the site.

After that, we broadcast the historical development video of BNBM. Thanks to 25 years of hard work, BNBM has become a famous brand with a good reputation in Papua New Guinea. During the video broadcast, the employees were in tears. The development of BNBM was not only the growth of a company but also the imprint of their youth.

After the video was broadcast, the most important link of the conference – the awarding ceremony, was ushered in. Wu Kai, manager of Pok VARAHE Store presented the award to the staff who had worked for ten years with the Company; Xin Xuebin, manager of POM HOMECENTER, presented the award to the employees who had worked with the Company for 11 and 12 years; Tang Donghai, the financial director, presented the award to two loyal employees from Head Office. Finally, General Manager Pan Xuan presented the award to Joe Hakayo, a loyal employee from POM HARDWARE. He had been working with BNBM for 23 years and had almost witnessed the entire history of POM HARDWARE.

After the awarding ceremony, amid the birthday song by the audiences, General Manager Pan Xuan and Joe Hakayo cut the cake together to express the best and sincere blessing to BNBM.

After the free exchanges, Chinese manager Liu Zhuo and Cheng Jianhui presented a youthful and energetic dance with employees from the building materials store and the home supplies store, which once again amazed the audience.

Finally, on behalf of all the Papua New Guinean Company employees and local staff, I wish BNBM a happy birthday again!
